Our Doctoral Faculty & Research Development Residencies are designed for supervisors, research mentors, methodology instructors, and all faculty contributing to doctoral education.

This intensive residency brings together current and future doctoral faculty for a transformative experience focused on high-quality supervision, research mentorship, doctoral teaching, and scholarly leadership.

Doctoral supervision is one of the most influential—and most challenging—roles in academia. Doctoral Faculty are expected to guide students through complex research processes, foster critical thinking, provide robust feedback, and uphold academic integrity. Yet few receive formal training to do so. This residency fills that gap.

Over four powerful days, you will deepen your understanding of the doctoral learning journey, exchange practice with peers from diverse disciplines, and strengthen the competencies needed to supervise at the doctoral level with clarity, rigour, and confidence.

Residency fees vary depending on the location.

The following discounts apply:
● 30% discount for Doctoral Faculty Development Programme members
● 50% for DoctorateHub GSBM Faculty as part of the Continuous Professional Development allowance.

Do I need to be a member of the Doctoral Faculty Development programme to attend this residency?

No. The attendance of this residency is open to holders of research doctorates.

However, members of the Doctoral Development Programme will receive priority for admission.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes. The following discounts apply:

● 50% discount for DoctorateHub GSBM Faculty.
